Who we are
Redrawn CAD ([legal name and address]) converts scanned and PDF drawings into CAD files (DWG, DXF and PDF). "We" and "us" mean Redrawn CAD; "you" means the person or company placing the order.
Your order
- Your quote is an estimate. We confirm the price before you pay, and nothing is charged until you approve it.
- Delivery is [3–5] business days after payment.
- Corrections are free for [14] days after delivery: anything where the CAD doesn't match your scan or your order instructions. Changes (anything new, such as a different layer standard or added devices) are quoted first.
- After [14] days without markups, the sheets count as accepted.
- A free CAD sample is one page, made automatically by our software and not checked by a drafter. One per company; you pay only if you order the full conversion.
Your drawings are confidential
- Uploads go to private storage. Only the people working on your order can open them.
- We sign your NDA, or send ours, before you upload if you ask.
- We delete your drawings and our files from our order system [30] days after you accept the sheets, or sooner if you ask. Unless you opt out, we keep the copies described in the next section.
How we use drawings to improve our software
Unless you opt out, we may use the drawings you upload, the CAD we make from them and the corrections we make along the way to train and test our own conversion software, so it gets better at reading drawings like yours. This use is internal only:
- Your drawings are never shared, published or sold.
- They are never sent to third-party AI services or labelling services.
- We keep these copies on our own systems, with the same need-to-know access as your order, for [retention period to be decided].
Opting out
You can opt out at any time, before or after you order, by emailing hello@redrawncad.com from the address you order with (or with your order number). If you opt out, your drawings are used only to deliver your order, then deleted on the schedule above. If you opt out after ordering, we stop using them for training and delete the copies we kept for it [within 30 days]. [Software already trained before you opted out isn't rebuilt.] [Opting out doesn't change your price or service.]
Agreeing to these terms
By clicking "Start my conversion" or requesting a free CAD sample, you agree to these terms. We record this version (2026-10-18) and the time with your order. If we change the terms, the new version applies to new orders; each order keeps the version agreed when it was placed.
